Looking to attend some winter schooling shows this year. Just wanted some feedback as to which one you prefered and why?
If it's really negative feedback, please PM me to be respectful.

Meadowlark North has never hosted winter shows at this venue before. I will be attending them though as I board right next door

Ill be going to a Meadowlarke show this month hopefully(fingers crossed). Facility looks really well done with lots of waiting room, and its super close to me as well. If you have been to a few Iron horse shows before you can switch up the venues and see how M.N is.

Went to IH this weekend. All in all, a good show. Couple of call outs.
1 - Jumps were TINY! the 2'6" were maybe 2'3" the meters were maybe 3'. Wish they would have been a little higher, but understand it being the first show. 2 - My coach and I were told the night before that the 1.0m would be starting around 11am...got to the show and was told 11:40am...not a big dea....but we actually did not start until 1:30pm. Made for an unbelievably long day. 3 - Waaay too much congestion in the warm-up ring. Almost unsafe. People were calling "oxer" but both jumps were oxers...LOL 4 - The ingate asked for everyone to go in an order. People who were at the top of the order couldn't warm up over jumps in the warm-up ring because people from the bottom of the order were warming up. I don't know how many times they had to hold the ring for the top of the order people. Perhaps why it took 2 and a half hours for first division :-P
But as I said, all in all a good show I'll be returning...but I'll sleep in next time ;-)

I attended the Meadowlarke North jumper show this month! It was well pretty well run, small classes, friendly people. Well set courses with a good mix of maxed/non maxed jumps.
I did the first division of the day, and the first class in the second division. So I'm not really sure what the turnout was like later in the day. I prefer the smaller shows for winter schooling (and it's right next door so no trailer necessary!!)

Some people from my barn went to Meadowlarke North a couple weeks ago and seemed to enjoy it... Everyone came back with smiles, and they said the facilities were really nice!
