My boy has had a wart on the inside of his knee for about 5 months now, give or take. There are now 2, one beside the other, one being slightly bigger. They don't bother him, they are just ugly. The vet took a look and said just to keep an eye on them, but not to worry.
He is 11 years old, which after my intense research, most warts happen in younger horses. I was looking up remedies to see if I can get them to disappear. I am trying Tea Tree Oil first as I feel this is the safest route. Others say Crest toothpaste.
I'm curious to see if there are any changes, we are on day 2 of applying the Tea Tree Oil 2 times a day. Even if they decrease in size I'll be happy.

I used compound W - my 4 yr old had a few on her nose and this cleared it up asap.

I used furazone, once a week for a month and it shrunk them down to nothing.

I was scared to try Compound W, was planning on that next if the tea tree oil doesn't work.
