Catori Lane, and the Kingston Short Course Series will be hosting our second season of Schooling Short Course Eventing Competitions. This will be a fun, relaxed, day designed to be an inviting and confidence building introduction to the sport of eventing.
Short course eventing consists of a dressage test like a full horse trial, with a shortened stadium and cross country course. The stadium and cross country are ridden in combination, starting in the stadium ring, and continuing on to the cross country to finish the round back in the stadium ring. The total penalty points are calculated like a full horse trial, to determine the winner.
Our mission is to provide a safe, fun day, where riders of all levels and experience can come out and enjoy themselves.
We have a great list of sponsors and prizes lined up, as well as a delicious canteen and photographer on site.
We hope to continue with our success of Short Course Competitions in the future !
