I'm wondering if your barn's arena is already getting dusty & if so, what does your barn management do to control the dust? I know Da-Lee Dust Control works on most footing, but they are quite expensive. I hear that calcium can work until it gets really cold out. Any other suggestions?

We use magnesium instead of calcium. Supposed to be easier on the horses' feet. I find it does a good job if you put it down this time of year as it will absorb dampness from the air. If you put it down in the winter once the air is dry, it doesn't do as good a job of keeping the dust down.
